Dunne and Crescenzi (14 South Frederick Street, Southside, Dublin 2) — located in the heart of Dublin city, is one of the foremost Italian restaurants in Ireland. Owned by Eileen Dunne Crescenzi and Stefano Crescenzi, they brought the traditions and values of Italian cooking to the Irish people. Dishes served there include Carnaroli risotto with Doran’s Dublin Bay prawns, pomegranate and chardonnay Friulano; Linguine with Doran’s scallops and citrus pesto; and Wild boar pot roast with mushrooms served with chargrilled polenta infused with truffle.
